See how Vendwiser does the SEO of your own shop from a conversation

Vendwiser connects your Shopify shop and your Google Search Console to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client. It crawls the shop the way Google does, reads what Google shows of it, and proposes the fixes: you read the old and new values and approve. Below are five everyday tasks, step by step.

Example data All data on this page is example data for Northwind Sleep, a fictional demo shop. Clicks and impressions are what Search Console reports; they end about three days ago and a changed page is re-read by Google in days to weeks.

1. Audit the shop and see what to fix first

Vendwiser crawls the shop (robots.txt, sitemap, every page), scores it per category and lists the problems with the pages they are on and the fix for each. Nothing changes yet.

2. Title tags and meta descriptions for every product, in one approval

Vendwiser proposes a title (product + brand, 60 characters) and a description (the first sentences of the product text, 155 characters) for every page that has none; when Search Console already shows a page for a search term, the term goes into the title. You read the rows before anything is written.

Written to Shopify in seconds. Google picks the new titles and descriptions up at its next visit, days to weeks; the monthly report shows the clicks before and after. For the five products that sell most, write the text by hand: a template is a floor, not a ceiling.

3. Which pages Google has in its index, and why the others are out

Search Console's URL inspection, 20 pages per call, products first; the results add up over runs and the dashboard keeps the picture.

Google fetched the page and judged it too thin or too similar to others: 34 words of text, the same meta description as three sibling sizes, one internal link. The fix is text of its own (materials, firmness, sizes) and a link from the Hybrid collection; seo_copy_brief gathers everything needed to write it.

4. Search terms across Search Console and Google Ads, with the actions

One table of terms from organic search and from the ads, matched ignoring case and accents, with four lists: terms that sell through ads but rank poorly, terms already in the top 3 still paid for, organic demand with no ad, paid terms with no sale.

How to connect your shop in four steps

  1. Create a free Vendwiser accountNo card needed. The free plan has 15 tool calls a month and crawls up to 100 pages.
  2. Connect ShopifyIn Vendwiser, under Integrations, choose Shopify, paste your shop address (the admin address works too) and press Connect. Shopify's own screen asks whether Vendwiser may read and change products, content and navigation: confirm. No password is typed into Vendwiser.
  3. Connect Google Search ConsoleUnder Integrations choose Google Search Console and press Connect; sign in with the Google account that owns the site's property. Vendwiser reads Search Console only (queries, pages, index status, sitemaps); it never writes there.
  4. Ask, then approveReading is immediate. Every change comes back as a preview with old and new values and is applied only after you approve it in the conversation. The SEO page of the dashboard keeps the scores, the index picture, the search terms and a 90-day chart with each approved change marked on it; a monthly report by email says what changed and what it gave.

Questions

Is the data on this page real?

No. Everything shown comes from Northwind Sleep, a fictional demo shop. On your account you see your own pages, your own Search Console data and your own changes.

Which shops can be connected?

Shopify shops with an Online Store. The audit (crawl, scores, issues, page speed) works on any public site a connected shop points to; the fixes are written to Shopify. Other shop platforms are planned.

Does Vendwiser write the product texts and the articles?

It proposes the mechanical fields from templates (title tags, meta descriptions, alt texts, redirects, internal links) and gathers the material for the rest: for a product text, the attributes, variants, the search terms Google shows the page for, buyer questions from your marketplaces and the sibling products; for an article, the products to link and the related terms. The assistant writes, you read, and the text is saved only after your approval. Articles are always created as drafts; publishing stays with you in Shopify.

Can the assistant change my shop without asking me?

No. Every change is first simulated and shown with old and new values. It reaches Shopify only after you approve it in the conversation. Redirects and handle changes come with a warning, because they are permanent for Google.

What does Search Console add?

Clicks, impressions, click rate and position per query and per page, the quick wins (positions 4 to 15, page-one pages rarely clicked, pages losing clicks, queries split across pages), URL inspection (indexed or not, and why) and the sitemaps. Without it, Vendwiser still crawls and audits the shop and fixes what the crawl finds.

How do I know the changes worked?

The dashboard draws clicks and impressions over 90 days with each approved change as a marker, and the monthly report lists every change with the site's clicks in the 14 days after it against the 14 before. Alerts tell you when a page drops out of the index, loses clicks, when duplicates appear, when a dead address still gets traffic, when a template is slow or a new article links to no product.

What does it cost?

There is a free plan with 15 calls a month. Paid plans start at EUR 49 a month, VAT excluded.
